Need help and guidance?
We can’t provide guidance or advice about how to take your pension savings, but a specialist can. Get help with finding the right help and visit our Guidance and advice page.
Why you’re here
You’ve told us you’re planning to move some or all of your savings into (flexi access or income) drawdown, but you’re unsure about how you want to invest. Whilst the main benefit of a Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) is to give you the flexibility to pick and manage your own investments, Investment Pathways are straight-forward investment solutions designed for how you expect to use your pension over the next 5 years. Simply choose the pathway that best matches your drawdown goals.
Consider how you want to use your pension over the next five years and make sure you are comfortable with the level of investment risk.
- Investment Pathways don’t consider your specific individual circumstances, your attitude to risk or your capacity for loss.
- You're not locked in for any amount of time - you can leave the Pathway if you want to at any time, but this might affect what you get back.
- Investment Pathways are not a substitute for financial advice, and it is important to review your chosen Investment Pathway regularly, especially if your retirement goals change.
The Key Investor Information Document is provided below for each Investment Pathway option. This will give you more information on the Investment Pathway fund and the costs and charges.
Note: if you choose an investment pathway, the investment will not happen automatically, you will need to place the trade yourself. Please take a note of the fund reference / ISIN to make your investment online through the Share Dealing section of your SIPP. You will be asked to indicate your investment choice when you access your benefits.
